Beyond the mountain bike trails, Vee Hollow has quick access to a number of fun amenities nearby. Grab a burger, have a cocktail at the local distillery, or cool off after a ride while tubing down the Little River. Consider camping/glamping options at the Little Arrow Resort, the perfect place to lay your head after a big day of adventure.
Vee Hollow is a mountain bike destination where you can pedal into nature, find adventure, and progress your mountain bike skills as far as you want to go. There are a range of trails and experiences from hand-cut singletrack and long enduro-style descents to a range of flow-based trails that allow for maximum progression. Visitors can enjoy short rides and sessions in the base area zone at the skills area, demo flow zone, and the jump forest or ride all day on the multiple trails that cover the West and East Mountains.
The Vee Hollow Trails were designed and built by the best local and regional group of trail building professionals including C2 Recreation, IdeRide Builders, Singletrack Trails, Trail Bender, Valarie Naylor Trails, Contour Trail Design Company, Southern Gravity Parks, and IMBA Trail Solutions.
The trails at Vee Hollow are rated as follows:
- Green-Beginner
- Blue – Intermediate
- Black – Advanced
- Double Black – Expert
The trails and forest playground offer a full progression for every mountain biker from the never-ever to the very advanced. Riders new to mountain biking have multiple options at the base in the forest playground (skills area and demo flow zone) as well as the green loop (name TBD). Further up the mountain are a range of trails offering more progressive experiences. There are a number of expert-level experiences, including the jump forest.
There are four riding zones at Vee Hollow including a skills area, demo flow trails, jump trails, and the mountain trails (West and East Mountains)
Yes, the trails are open 365 days of the year, weather permitting. Some trails may be closed due to weather/trail work. Trail closures will be posted through our social media channels.
There is no shuttle available at Vee Hollow. The park was designed to be a pedal park. E-bikes are allowed and can be rented from Vee Hollow Bike Shop.

Vee Hollow is located in Townsend, Tennessee, on the east end of town near the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
The Vee Hollow trails are open 7 days a week year-round. Hours will vary by season.
Vee Hollow is a 14-mile mountain bike trail network, free to use and open year-round.
